It has been confirmed from the Premier League that it has recieved six positive Covid19 tests within the first wave of mandatory testing.

The positive tests are from three separate clubs after nearly 750 tests were carried out over the weekend on players, managers, coaches, and non-playing staff.

“The Premier League is providing this aggregated information for the purposes of competition integrity and transparency. No specific details as to clubs or individuals will be provided by the League and results will be made public in this way after each round of testing.”

The second wave of testing is due at the end of this week.
