Odds – Home Win 11/4 Draw 11/5 Away Win Evs

The tough start for Waterford continues as they look to bounce back from two straight defeats. While Derry look to capitalise on the win over possible European rivals Bohemians last Friday. Waterford may be the fresher of the two teams with their game against Sligo Rovers been postponed last Saturday due to extremely bad windy and cold conditions. One thing that may be cold could be the reception forming Waterford man Walter Figueira gets as he makes his return to the RSC for the first time since his departure.

Derry City will be without Ciaran Coll once again and Gerardo Bruna could be a doubt as his wife recently gave birth and was granted family time by the club. Waterford have a full-strength squad as of now.

Verdict – Derry City

Even with the two teams coming in with a L to their names this isn’t a game to take your eyes off. Jordan Flores might even pop up with another internet breaking goal.

The first clash of the Rovers fixture of the season. Sligo will be looking for any positive signs after their disaster of a start to the season that hasn’t even seen them score a single goal. While the visitors on the other hand can’t stop scoring goals netting 12 in four games already.

Sligo will come into this fresh after their clash with Waterford was called off last Saturday. They also have new man Ryan De Vries ready to get them on the score sheet. Verdict – Shamrock Rovers
